After a while, we finaly figured out how to get the faceplate on the guitar. You need to remove the neck of the guitar, and then it is simple.
It looks very authentic. I recommend this, especially at this price. It adds to the perfectly sensational encounter of playing Guitar Hero VH. And it looks fantastic while not playing too. |

Ok, so it ain't a replica "Frankenstein" EVH guitar - and who can afford one anyway, what with the $15,000.00 + pricetag. What this faceplate is though is the next best thing for Van Halen fans who dig the whole Guitar Hero series. In just a few seconds this faceplate transforms your tired looking Guitar Hero controller into Eddie Van Halen's infamous "Frankenstein". What's it do for your game playing abilities you question? The same thing a new pair of shoes did for you when you were a nine year ancient kid - you can run quicker, jump higher and look way better than any of your other friends. And after all, it's not about whether you win or lose, it's how excellent you looked!
This faceplate looks incredible. It looks a lot like Eddie's most well-known guitar, with scratches, dings and all. The stripes are pretty close as is the placement of the "squiggles". The look is right, all the way down to the half-pickguard and the screw holes for the gone half. And what red-blooded child of the 80s didn't dream of playing Eddie's guitar? Slap this faceplate on your controller, pop in Van Halen Guitar Hero, place on your cleanest dirty jeans (you know the ones with the holes in 'em) and Light Up The Sky!!! |

| The faceplate for the Wii controller is fantastic. Nice detail to look like Eddie's "Frankenstrat". Simple to install. |

| Never played Guitar Hero before. Van Halen is my all-time pet band. Got the new Guitar Hero VH game. Couldn't judge I could get a faceplate that looked exactly like EVH's frankenstein guitar. But to my horror, they wouldn't ship it to Canada! Excellent thing I have friends in the US. They expected it, re-sent it to me and now I have my faceplate. I'm not to be denied!!! Anyhoo, faceplate is fantastic! |

| Well, not much to say except now my guitar looks like Eddie Van Halen's and that's pretty cool. I grew up listening to Van Halen so this game is a must for any VH fan and a fan of Guitar Hero. |
