Guitar Hero III: Myths of Rock is a music video game developed by Neversoft and published by Activision and RedOctane. It's the third major relief in the Guitar Hero series of music video games, in which players use a special guitar-shaped game controller to simulate the playing of rock music.

This is one of the latest installments in the Guitar Hero series, bringing with it more music, a better interface, and a wireless guitar controller for the Wii. It is, as the name suggests a rocking game with a varied tracklist that will appeal to all, and of course it is also a music game that places the player in a band as the lead guitarist or rhythm guitarist or bassist as in co-op multiplayer. He or she "plays" well-known (or not so well-known) songs from the 70's all the way to the modern day and this is unfilled both individually and in bundles packaged with wireless controllers.

Guitar Hero III: Myths of Rock is a ton of fun and you will have a blast playing it as it surely is a legend in the making, but just don't go overboard thinking this is your ticket to the American Idol! The game is rated T for "Teen," but is already a huge hit with guitarists of all ages and is just a treat to play, donation all of the elements that hardcore fans of the series have been clamoring for all these years.

There are a ton of online features as well as some subtle yet vital tweaks in the gameplay which make it more accessible to newcomers, yet still fun to play and challenging for masters of the game.

That's a excellent thing for Wii owners, because many an opinion says that Guitar Hero III: Myths of Rock is far and away the best game in the series.
